Rorschach ink blots were the primary inspiration for these designs. However, black-and-white ink blots alone didn't suit the final products. I wanted to add a splash of color that was unique to each flavor. Strawberry, orange, lemon, and lime were represented by red, orange, yellow, and green respectively.
The story behind the "blank" brand was convoluted in its early stages. I wasn't sure what I was designing, or who I was designing for. I eventually decided to abandon my first rationale in favor of pursuing an interesting design concept. The final results didn't disappoint. They upheld a brand story while also standing out from the crowd as a unique take on bottled water.
